In 2011, Sourabh Verma won his first international title by winning the Bahrain International Challenge. In the same year he was the runner up at Syed Modi Grand Prix Gold 2011 after losing to the former Olympic champion Taufik Hidayat. Sourabh won back to back international titles in 2013 and 2014.
